Married to the Outreach program is the idea of Workforce Development. Where as Kent State University's Outreach program serves to cultivate interest for the Electron Beam Technology (EBT) program among potential students, the Workforce Development program seeks to educate those in the working world, including teachers, who may benefit from knowledge about the Electron Beam, and its applications. There are some workshops in progress that seek to accomplish these goals.
