State University of New York (SUNY) Scientists with our Scientists at Kent State University (KSU) performing an experiment with wood blocks covered in different types of wood preservatives. In This experiment, the different wood blocks were irradiated to see if water was drawn from them, and if the different wood preservatives became more water resistant.

Experiment with Nylon strap. The desired result was to make the strap more water resistant.
